Feature change
Mon 10 Nov 2008 | Tags: New Features | 1 Comment
We have made one significant feature to the way the main gallery now works. When you click on the thumbnail of the site, it now takes you directly to that website. Clicking on the site title will still take you to the details a feed page.
We think this change makes the site much more pleasant to use.
Please give us your feedback

This is a general call to our users to tell us what features you would like to see added to CSS Umbrella. If you would like to tell us things that you don't like, or annoy you, you can do that as well, but please be polite.
You can give your feedback here in the comments, or email us at "info at css umbrella dot com".
We are looking to add some new features soon.
RSS feed errors fixed
Wed 09 Jul 2008 | Tags: Problems, Feeds | 0 Comments
You may have noticed some pages have been getting errors lately. This was due to some bad code checking to make sure an RSS feed actually works. I think I've fixed the issue, but please let us know if you notice anything wrong.
CSS Vault returns

It turns out that the recent CSS Vault downtime was only temporary and it has now returned. There are more details in the CSS Vault blog.
CSS Vault goes down
Sun 15 Jun 2008 | Tags: Gallery, Down | 0 Comments
CSS Vault, one of the oldest (correct me if I'm wrong) CSS galleries, has gone down. It now redirects to Apple Gazette, another website by Design Disease. Strangely though that site seems a little broken too (no content on the front page). Could this just be a temporary hiccup or is CSS Vault now gone for good?
If anyone knows any more about this we would love to know.
UPDATE: CSS Vault has now returned.
New blog and server downtime
Mon 09 Jun 2008 | Tags: Problems, New Features | 0 Comments
As you can see, we've added a brand new blog. Here we will keep you updated with what we're working on, features, issues and whatever else we feel like rambling about.
You might have noticed some downtime and a few issues here and there. Last week there was a fire and subsequent explosion (which knocked down three internal walls) in the data centre that this website is hosted in. Luckily for us no servers were harmed. Following that there have been a few issues which were caused by the server being messed about. Most of those have been resolved now.
There have been a few other little teething issues (what with this site being less than two weeks old), so if you notice anything then please let us know.
Stay tuned as we add new features and new CSS Galleries.
